There’s a new version of the site up today – a few minor bug-fixes, a couple of new features, and hopefully a speed improvement when searching for trains at a location.
The iPhone bug – where it was impossible to switch to Detailed mode on an iOS device – should now be fixed. If you’re still having problems switching to detailed mode and you’re on an iPhone, please drop me a mail.
Peter,
Yes – the iOS bug appears to have been fixed thanks.
I am currently on CR 1H51 which on the ‘Facilities’ tab shows as having reservations available. No CR services (with the possible exception of the ‘Business Zone’ on a handful of their Silver MainLine services) have seat reservations. Not sure if it’s the way they have loaded the data, or the way you are extracting it.
Thanks for a great site. Very useful.

Could said train be semi-reservable, ie it is possible to issue a mandatory reservation coupon for an advance ticket but not allocate a seat. This system is common on Chiltern, Northern, Southern, SWT and ATW services.
Can you please let me know how to get the I phone app
Regards
Brian
There’s no app – just go to http://www.opentraintimes.com/ on your phone, and the site should automatically resize and fit properly on your phone. (There are still some further tweaks I need to do to make it pretty on all phones)
Good to see the freight times back
Eep, that wasn’t by design! I’m sorry, I’ve had to hide them again – they got accidentally put back on during last night’s timetable update.
Rest assured if/when I get a green signal to proceed with freight times, I’ll make a big fuss about it!
